Google Page Creator Tutorial
Overview
Google's page creator is targeted at people who want to build a website, but have no clue where to start. It includes everything you need to have a fully functional website up and running in minutes. You don't need to worry about domain names, hosting or learning how to code HTML, Google has done all the hard work so you don't have to.
The service comes with 100mb of webspace, which is enough to store maybe 1000 web-sized photos. Once you have signed in to the page creator you are taken straight to the page editor.
The top menu lets you change the look and layout, or preview and publish the site. The upper left-hand menu gives you some familiar text editor functions such as bold, italic, bullet list, font, text-size and text alignment. You can also insert images and links from here. The lower left hand menu lets you change between headings, and normal text. The main window is where you do all the typing, and where you can arrange your images and text.
There is also an extremely useful auto-save feature that will save your work every few minutes in case your browser closes.
Getting Started
Click in to the title section (outlined in red dashes) and give your home page a title. Use backspace to delete what is there already and then just type the title you want with your keyboard.
Edit your page's header and footer using the same method as above.
Click in to the main body area of the page and begin typing. You can add images, links and text in a variety of formats.
Uploading Pictures
This is quite straight forward.
Make sure your cursor is somewhere in the main window (preferrably where you want the image to be).
Then, simply hit the image icon then select an image by either browsing on your local computer or entering a URL location.
You then have 4 options, to display the image as small, medium, large or orginial size.
The image is inserted into the WYSIWYG editor and then you can drag it around to whereever you want. It looks like you can only align the image left, center or right at the moment. You can also place an image in the middle of some text and the text will attempt to wrap around it.
Formatting Text
Headings
When entering text, you have 4 options for whether the text is a heading or just normal text. To switch between them you simply click the required heading type from the lower left hand menu.
Generally you will want to be in normal text mode.
Heading Types
Heading - this is the largest heading. On this page "Getting Started" is a main heading.
Subheading - this is the next heading type, as demonstrated by "Headings" on this page.
Minor Heading - this is the smallest heading type. "Heading Types" on this page is a minor heading.
Normal - this is the default text type.
Tip - once you have added a heading, press enter to go to a new line, and then switch the heading type back to normal text to continue writing.
Text Alignment
You have 3 options for text alignment; left, center and right aligned. This is pretty self-explanatory, but for those of you who have never used a word processor before:

At the time of writing there were 7 font types to choose from. This is the default normal font.

Creating Links
Adding links in Google's page creator is easy. There are 4 types of links you can add to your web pages:
You can link to other pages on your Google website, files or images that you have uploaded, other external web pages and e-mail addresses. If you want to link to a file, then this window will also give you an option to upload it.
Advanced Options
For those of you who know some HTML then there is a mode to edit the raw HTML.
You can switch the layout of the site to one, two, or three columns.
You can change the look of the site by selecting a different template. This page is currently using the default template, but at the time of writing there were 41 templates to choose from.
Conclusion
This is another great tool by Google, and despite its BETA tag I couldn't find any major bugs with it. The only one problem I found was with the size of heading text changing toward the end of this page, which meant I manually had to make it "large".
Uploading images and files was easy, as was using the text formatting tools. All in all, it took me a little over an hour to create this page including taking and uploading all the screenshots.
Anyone who can use a word processor confidently should find building pages with Google Page Creator easy, so the test for me now is to see if I can get my internet newbies to use it and start creating pages of their own.
Up until now blogging was the easiest way of getting your words and pictures on the web without any prior HTML knowledge, but this tool gives us another option.

DirectMatches - Terrific Resource To Get Members
I'm sure most of you have heard of MySpace, the social network phenomena that has 40+ million members. DirectMatches builds on that idea but gears it for the professional and network marketing audience.
DirectMatches is a free to join network where you can create a profile, network with your primary prospect group and advertise your Plug in Profit business.
DirectMatches is the first in the online business and social networking industry to deploy a multi-matchmaking system that helps people locate everything from business contacts to network marketing professionals. It is the first business and social networking service with a contact management system that operates on a "dynamic basis", where members are able to select from dedicated networking communities.
Here's how you can get the most out of your DirectMatches membership.

You will want to get at least a "Managing IR" membership ($19.95) to be able to get the most out of this tool.
Once you've signed up you will want to set up your user profile. There are 3 areas that you will be placing your profile information. Keep in mind that this information is used to match you against other members profiles in the system. Here is what I put in my profile to match the people I'm most looking for in the system:
Under "Occupation" I checked "MLM". You may want to check "Retired" and "Self-Employed" as well.
Under "Business Topics" I checked "Ad Strategies", "Internet Marketing" and "Home Based Business".
Under "Business Interests" I checked "Marketing, Advertising" and "Networking".
Once you've done that put your other information in and click on "submit".
You will then be taken to your profile page where you will want to click on "My Business Matches". You will find that you should have matched hundreds if not thousands of other members. This is where you will get started in building your DirectMatches contact base.
Once you are on the "My Business Matches" page you will want to start adding contacts. Assuming all of these folks match what you are looking for, go ahead and start clicking on the "add me to contacts" button for each one. You want to go through at least the first 10 pages, which will be 100 contacts. Once you've done that you can go back to those contact profiles and send them an email introducing yourself. Keep it informal and short. Make sure you have your sig file on the bottom of your email (you can set it up in your email options).
You will now have 100 contacts that you will have made initial contact with. Hopefully, they should all add you as a contact on their page. They will automatically show up in your contact section on your page giving you the opportunity to have regular communications with them. You will want to continue this process (adding business matches) on a daily basis. By the end of the week you should have 700 new contacts to network with and more than likely a few sign ups into Plug in Profit.
The next thing you can do as part of your DM strategy is to send daily group emails out to your contact list. You are limited to sending it to 60 people a day so plan accordingly. That doesn't mean you can't send more than that, just that you can only send 60 group messages at a time. I would send a daily tip out, something that will help them in building their MLM business. You can tie it to the Success Guide or just something that you are doing to drive traffic. People will soon start to expect this from you and you will become an information resource for them. Send a link to your blog as well as a helpful resource.
Another powerful feature you have within DM is the network search feature that you will find in your mail page. You will use it to locate members that are in particular network marketing companies, like Shaklee or Xango. You will get back pages of contacts that belong to that MLM group. Once you've done that you click on "add me to contacts", then I come back to their profile and click on the email link. Here is what I email them:

Increasing Traffic to Your Website with RSS
ARTICLE: How To Keep Your Website Fresh With RSS

One of the biggest reasons people visit websites is to get information. If you can regularly provide fresh, quality content on your website you can expect to be rewarded by visitors and return visitors. What's more, you will be rewarded by the search engines. I recommended that you add new and original content to your site as often as possible, ideally once a day.
Regularly adding fresh and original content:
* Keeps your site visitors coming back
* Continually adds value to your website
* Makes people more comfortable buying from your site
* Establishes yourself as an authority in your industry
* Greatly helps your site rank higher in search engines
All of the above factors translate into revenue.
We all know how hard adding original and fresh content is, especially if you're the business owner. You have to be original, creative, organized, thoughtful and motivated, and above all, able to write. So what's a website owner or business owner supposed to do? RSS may be the answer.
What Is RSS?
Here's the Wikipedia definition of RSS:
RSS is a family of web feed formats specified in XML (a generic specification for data formats) and used for Web syndication. RSS delivers its information as an XML file called an "RSS feed", "webfeed", "RSS stream", or "RSS channel". These RSS feeds provide a way for users to passively receive newly released content (such as text, web pages, sound files, or other media); this might be the full content itself or just a link to it, possibly with a summary or other metadata (data describing the content).
RSS feeds are operated by many news web sites, weblogs, schools, and podcasters.
"RSS" can stand for any of the following phrases:
* Really Simple Syndication (RSS 2.0)
* Rich Site Summary (RSS 0.91, RSS 1.0)
* RDF Site Summary (RSS 0.9 and 1.0)
Want to see an example of RSS in action? Go to the Oak Web Works, LLC homepage (http://www.oakwebworks.com ), and look at the bottom of the right-hand column under the title 'Latest Tech News'. This is actually two RSS feeds from other websites.
Our company homepage was very static. It didn't change very much since the services we offer stay basically the same. Why should any visitors come back if every time they come to our site, the content is exactly the same? They don't have much of a reason.
Interestingly, that's the way search engine spiders were programmed to "think" as well. Spiders are programs written for search engines to regularly surf the Web and record what's there. That recording goes into the search engine's databases ready to be accessed by the next searcher. This process is called indexing.
For example, Google will send out a spider to your site and index a lot of it, but not always all of it. It determines how often to revisit and index your site by how often you update it. If you update it every day, then it will visit much more often than if you rarely update it. Engines also consider the homepage to be the most important page, so it's good to update it even more often than the rest of your site.
Again, if you struggle with adding fresh content, then RSS may be the answer. We didn't write the headlines under 'Latest Tech News' on our homepage. Instead, the RSS feed automatically grabbed it from another site that had created them. Once we set the feed up, we don't have to do anything more, and our homepage has regularly updated content. Every time those headlines change, it updates its feed, which is then updated on any other websites displaying that feed, as well as ours.
RSS feeds can be more than news headlines. They can be lists of any kind. They can be press releases, articles, blog entries, product releases, or almost any other grouping of changing or growing data.
How Do I Set An RSS Feed Up?
There are a number of ways in which you can display an RSS feed on your website. You can use JavaScript or various other scripting languages. Unfortunately, RSS that uses JavaScript is not seen at all by search engines when they come and index your site, so don't use JavaScript.
Instead, use a script that can be handled by your Web server besides JavaScript. Ask your hosting company or IT people what platform your Web server uses and what software or modules are loaded onto the machine. This will determine what scripting language you can use for your RSS.
Check if your Web server has PHP capabilities. If so, then there are hundreds of scripts written in PHP that you can use for free that properly displays RSS feeds that are recognized by search engines. There are RSS scripts written in ASP.NET, Perl and numerous other languages, so you have a wide variety to choose from.
For the Oak Web Works, LLC homepage we used an ASP script called RSStoHTML.
Which one would you choose? After you've determined which languages your Web server supports, conduct a search such as 'PHP script for displaying RSS feeds in html' or 'ASP and RSS', for example. Try a few and see which ones run on your server. If one runs on your server properly, and you check this by simply seeing if it displays RSS feeds on your Web page, then use that one.
When you download the script, look at the code and find where to add an RSS feed URL. There should be a dummy one in there already, so just replace that one with the RSS feed you want to use. Here's what a typical RSS feed URL looks like:

After we inserted the RSS feed URL into the script, we wanted to display the feed in HTML on our homepage. To do this we added the following bit of code into the spot on our homepage html code where we wanted it to display:

One of the biggest reasons people visit websites is to get information. If you can regularly provide fresh, quality content on your website you can expect to be rewarded by visitors and return visitors. What's more, you will be rewarded by the search engines. I recommended that you add new and original content to your site as often as possible, ideally once a day.
Regularly adding fresh and original content:
* Keeps your site visitors coming back
* Continually adds value to your website
* Makes people more comfortable buying from your site
* Establishes yourself as an authority in your industry
* Greatly helps your site rank higher in search engines
All of the above factors translate into revenue.
We all know how hard adding original and fresh content is, especially if you're the business owner. You have to be original, creative, organized, thoughtful and motivated, and above all, able to write. So what's a website owner or business owner supposed to do? RSS may be the answer.
What Is RSS?
Here's the Wikipedia definition of RSS:
RSS is a family of web feed formats specified in XML (a generic specification for data formats) and used for Web syndication. RSS delivers its information as an XML file called an "RSS feed", "webfeed", "RSS stream", or "RSS channel". These RSS feeds provide a way for users to passively receive newly released content (such as text, web pages, sound files, or other media); this might be the full content itself or just a link to it, possibly with a summary or other metadata (data describing the content).
RSS feeds are operated by many news web sites, weblogs, schools, and podcasters.
"RSS" can stand for any of the following phrases:
* Really Simple Syndication (RSS 2.0)
* Rich Site Summary (RSS 0.91, RSS 1.0)
* RDF Site Summary (RSS 0.9 and 1.0)
Want to see an example of RSS in action? Go to the Oak Web Works, LLC homepage (http://www.oakwebworks.com ), and look at the bottom of the right-hand column under the title 'Latest Tech News'. This is actually two RSS feeds from other websites.
Our company homepage was very static. It didn't change very much since the services we offer stay basically the same. Why should any visitors come back if every time they come to our site, the content is exactly the same? They don't have much of a reason.
Interestingly, that's the way search engine spiders were programmed to "think" as well. Spiders are programs written for search engines to regularly surf the Web and record what's there. That recording goes into the search engine's databases ready to be accessed by the next searcher. This process is called indexing.
For example, Google will send out a spider to your site and index a lot of it, but not always all of it. It determines how often to revisit and index your site by how often you update it. If you update it every day, then it will visit much more often than if you rarely update it. Engines also consider the homepage to be the most important page, so it's good to update it even more often than the rest of your site.
Again, if you struggle with adding fresh content, then RSS may be the answer. We didn't write the headlines under 'Latest Tech News' on our homepage. Instead, the RSS feed automatically grabbed it from another site that had created them. Once we set the feed up, we don't have to do anything more, and our homepage has regularly updated content. Every time those headlines change, it updates its feed, which is then updated on any other websites displaying that feed, as well as ours.
RSS feeds can be more than news headlines. They can be lists of any kind. They can be press releases, articles, blog entries, product releases, or almost any other grouping of changing or growing data.
How Do I Set An RSS Feed Up?
There are a number of ways in which you can display an RSS feed on your website. You can use JavaScript or various other scripting languages. Unfortunately, RSS that uses JavaScript is not seen at all by search engines when they come and index your site, so don't use JavaScript.
Instead, use a script that can be handled by your Web server besides JavaScript. Ask your hosting company or IT people what platform your Web server uses and what software or modules are loaded onto the machine. This will determine what scripting language you can use for your RSS.
Check if your Web server has PHP capabilities. If so, then there are hundreds of scripts written in PHP that you can use for free that properly displays RSS feeds that are recognized by search engines. There are RSS scripts written in ASP.NET, Perl and numerous other languages, so you have a wide variety to choose from.
For the Oak Web Works, LLC homepage we used an ASP script called RSStoHTML.
Which one would you choose? After you've determined which languages your Web server supports, conduct a search such as 'PHP script for displaying RSS feeds in html' or 'ASP and RSS', for example. Try a few and see which ones run on your server. If one runs on your server properly, and you check this by simply seeing if it displays RSS feeds on your Web page, then use that one.
When you download the script, look at the code and find where to add an RSS feed URL. There should be a dummy one in there already, so just replace that one with the RSS feed you want to use. Here's what a typical RSS feed URL looks like:
http://nytimes.com/services/xml/rss/userland/
Technology.xml
The URL's often end in '.rss' as well.
After we inserted the RSS feed URL into the script, we wanted to display the feed in HTML on our homepage. To do this we added the following bit of code into the spot on our homepage html code where we wanted it to display:

I recommend that you read lots of people's blogs to learn what blogs are. Go to your favorite search engine and type in the word 'blog' and the subject you're interested in. For example, 'web design blog', or 'blog music' , or 'sports blog'. You'll find lots of blogs that way.
Blogs have become a way in which regular, non-technical people can post information to the Web as easily as they can access it.
Why are blogs so important?
Well, they're not that important, yet. But they could be soon, and most likely will be. In fact, some would argue that they are already vital in today's Web business world. I am not ready to agree to that yet, but it is becoming more obvious to me over time that blogs can no longer be ignored in business.
Online businesses can benefit from blogging by taking advantage of a vehicle for easily posting new, original, and business-related content on a regular basis.
Here are some more business benefits of blogging:
• Blogs help to position you and/or your company as experts and leaders in your industry.
• They're interactive in nature. At the end of each blog entry is usually a link that allows anyone to add their own comments to your blog entries. This allows your customers and potential customers to make comments about your products or services or ask you questions to help them in their buying process.
• Blogs are marketed easily and quickly by their RSS feeds
• Blogs allow you to stress your choice of products, services, relevant news stories, quotes, pictures and more with your audience, customers and potential customers.
• People are generous with adding links to your blog if the content is good, especially within their own blogs. More links means more traffic and better search engine rankings.

How to blog for business:
First you need to get blogging software. You can choose to create a blog that is housed on another site such as http://www.blogger.com (which is a blog service) or you can host it on your own Web server. I recommend the latter since the links that are developed by others pointing to your blog won't be counted in the search engines. This is because the links are attributed to domains, so a link to http://MyNewBlog.blogger.com gives a link credit to blogger.com and not your domain.
If your blog is a business blog, you really ought to host your own blog as opposed to using a blog service. You'll need the extra functionality and control.
If you plan on hosting your own blog and if you plan to use a UNIX Web server platform then you need to go with blogging software such as Movable Type, for example. If you have a Microsoft Web server platform for your site then you'll need software such as BetaParticle blog. Here is a great list of various blog software: http://www.lights.com/weblogs/tools.html
Next you'll need a database to hook your blog up to. The database is what stores the blog entries, among other things. If you don't know if you have a database on or connected to your website server, or if you don't know how to hook up your blog to your database, contact your host company or Web server administrator for help.
Once you have the blog set up on your domain (for example http://www.MyWebsite.com/blog) and you've hooked it up to a live database, you can start blogging. Generally, each entry is also a day. So you can write a new entry every day, or whenever you want, and that entry will show up on the blog at the top, moving older entries below.
You ought to think of a theme for your blog. In other words, your blog could be about your personal experiences in the industry you're in. It could be about your company's product reviews, or new services. It could be about your thoughts and opinions about issues related to your industry. It could be a place where you regularly find and list new resources to help others in your industry. The list is endless. But be sure to stick to a theme and be original. You want to offer something of value to your website visitors.
Sticking to theme helps you position yourself for future advertisers and also makes for better reading for your visitors. Furthermore, you want to give a good impression with your blog and with each and every entry if you want it to augment your online business. Finally, sticking to a theme helps with the search engines since it's believed that engines determine website themes and use this information for ranking.
Of course your blog could be about personal things too. Many blogs are just that, an online journal. But since we're interested in Web business here, I am discussing business blogs only.

Another neat thing about running a blog once it's set up is that you do not need to be technical at all to make regular entries. This is helpful if you want to delegate the writing to someone else, since technical skills won't be a prerequisite. This allows you to have the most qualified person regarding the blog's theme and hopefully the best writer actually making the entries.
Be creative. Add images to your blog entries to spice things up a bit. Although blogging can be lonely, keep at it. Sometimes it seems like you're just writing new entries each day for yourself only. It may be a while before someone chooses to add a comment to one of your entries. You may not hear from anyone for a long time. But that doesn't mean people aren't reading it. In fact, check your website statistics to see just how many people are visiting your new blog. As you add more entries, get your blog listed on other sites and market your blog. It will build, and eventually you'll have a nice following of engaged readers.
Most importantly, be sure to pepper your entries with calls to action. For example, if your business blog is attached to your travel website and the blog's theme is traveling and finding great travel deals all over the world, make sure you add a link to an entry that points people to a travel special you're running on your website. What would be even better is a blog entry about the fantastic vacation you took to Hawaii and included at the end was a link to cheap Hawaii vacation deals on your website.

Avoid the HYPE
Do you know the number one reason that approximately 90% of people who join an affiliate program or business opportunity never make the kind of money they expect to?
Here's the reason: HYPE
There's way too much hype on the Internet. Most of you who have been around the block a few times with affiliate programs know how to see through the hype, but many people who are new to affiliate and network marketing do not.
As a result, they come into a business opportunity with unrealistic expectations, they get discouraged easily, and they end up not doing much for the growth of your organization.
Think about it for a minute.
If you're using an advertisement that says "Earn $5K per week for doing nothing! I'll build your downline for you while you sit back and cash your checks!", that might attract a larger number of prospects than an ad that contains no hype, but is that really a good thing?
When you're using an ad that's full of hype, you're attracting prospects who expect something for nothing. If you're serious about building a large and sustainable organization that will grow with each passing month, that's the opposite of the kind of affiliates you actually should want.
You should be focused on working with people who come into the business with realistic expectations and who are willing to put in time and effort to make the business work. You're looking for people who aren't expecting free handouts, and who won't jump to the next opportunity they find that offers even more hype than what you provided.
You probably know the type; the kind of affiliate marketer who is always jumping on the bandwagon of "the next big program", and as a result always ends up spending more money in affiliate marketing than they make. It's not pretty. Simple hype costs a lot of people a lot of money, maybe even you.
Be truthful with your prospects and tell them honestly what they can expect. As an affiliate of Global Domains International, they can expect some great things.

If you're advertising using paying per click methods, such as with PPC search engines like Google, would you rather get high click-through rates on your "SUPER HYPE" ad, or would you rather receive fewer but higher quality clicks on an honest and straightforward ad? Why pay for clicks from people who aren't likely to join or work hard when you could be paying less money to recruit an army of hard-working affiliates over time, using a PPC ad without all the hype?
Over-hyping an opportunity is a mistake. In the long-term, it's only going to do damage to YOUR reputation and to that of the company.
Focus your efforts on recruiting hard workers who know and accept that making money takes time and effort, and you'll reap the rewards of that way of thinking for a long time to come.

Before we get moving you need to familiarize yourself with how the system works. This is all explained very clearly in 'Getting Started' when you've logged-in to your TrafficSwarm account. Please spend 5 minutes reading this so that you know how it all works. If you haven't signed up for TrafficSwarm yet click on the link on my "Helpful Resources" section and do so.
Now let's get down to business: I'm going to show you how I get around 60,000 credits every month. I don't buy them - I just have an ingenious but simple system in place that generates them for free! And I'm about to show you exactly how to do the same! As you will know each credit equals one exposure of an advert across the TrafficSwarm network so that's 60,000 exposures that my various ads enjoy each and every month! So - the first secret is to massively increase your credits in order to maximize exposure. Starting from today just by following these instructions you will accrue 10,000 exposures over the next 30 days - that's a promise! You'll then be able to do exactly the same EVERY single month!
After you've reached 10,000 credits EVERY month I'll then show you how to increase that to at least 60,000. We're going to start by grabbing 4500 credits each month. In order to do this you need a DMO. What's a DMO? It stands for Daily Method of Operation. You need to spend just 20 minutes every day at your PC. That's all - 20 minutes to build your business. Please don't say you're too busy! Everyone can find 20 minutes to themselves each day. If you want to grow your business it won't just happen - you have to do something!
So...20 minutes first thing in the morning or last thing at night or whatever. It's just a discipline. But it's a discipline that REALLY works.
Your first step is to download this excel file that will give you the tool you need to move forward.
Right click here and then select SAVE AS TARGET
Good. Now that you've done that open it up and have it on your screen. We'll be going back to it in a minute.
Open up your web browser which if you've followed your basic TrafficSwarm guidelines will open up at the TrafficSwarm page. If your web browser doesn't open up at the TrafficSwarm page just log-in to your account and click on 'Set Your Start Page'.
So...when you open up a new web browser window you will see 8 adverts there. Click the blue heading of the first one. At the top of the page it will then show in red how many credits you've earned just by doing that. Write your credits into the table under Credit 1 (yellow column above) and against 'Click 1'.
Still with me? Excellent!
Click Next at the top of the TrafficSwarm page and now do it again with the next advert. Insert your credits earned into the next row (2) again in the yellow column above. Keep going down till all 8 ads have been exposed and credits entered into your table. Now add the column up. My average total over 8 ads is 30 credits. Don't worry if you don't have that many - I'll explain how to increase that shortly. The main thing is that you record your credits so that you can see your progress.
OK! What next?
You're going to do this four more times so your table needs extending across so that you have in total FIVE of the above table going across. Your new column headings are going to be Credits 2, Credits 3, Credits 4, Credits 5. You wll also see 3 more columns, Daily Total, Lottery, Monthly Total. More about the additional 3 columns shortly.
Right that's the difficult bit over and done with!
It gets easier from here on in... All you need to do now is complete the day's activity. So just click on the ads, record the credits down 8 rows and move to the next column until all 5 Credit columns are complete. When you've clicked through all 8 ads that are showing close down the browser window and re-open it. This gives you another set of ads to work on. Opening a new browser window incidentally gives you another credit each time you do it. Complete all Credit Columns in this way. All your adding is done as you insert your credits and finaly gives your Daily Total. That's your total credits earned for the day. My average at 30 credits per column gives me an average of 150 credits every day. Do this each day and total up for the month. It should give you around 4,500 credits each month.
So...you've now earned your credits and recorded them for future reference.
TrafficSwarm Credit Lottery
Now - if you've been following me you'll see an extra column headed Lottery.
When you log into your TrafficSwarm account you'll see a box top left - Credit Lottery. Each day you will be entering this little lottery with a chance to win up to 10,000 credits or more. (This is pure bonus and does not form part of the 10,000 credits you will EARN).
So...we're now going to click through 8 more ads to complete the Lottery column and enter the total at the bottom. Whatever that total is we are going to enter the TrafficSwarm Credit Lottery with that amount. Just click on the Credit Lottery link on your TrafficSwarm page and enter that amount. Every day. Without fail.
Just to reiterate; the Lottery column is not part of our Daily Total of credits. They're being used purely as a Lottery entry.
The Credits lottery is drawn daily and you never know you may find yourself a lucky winner of around 10,000 credits! It could even happen 2 or if you're really lucky 3 times in a month! Who knows! Pure bonus!
That's it!
That's your DMO. Your Daily Method of Operation. Every day - without fail. If there are occasions when you simply have to miss a day you'll need to work for 40 minutes the next day to catch up. Don't get behind on this. Work diligently and with absolute discipline and it will pay off - big time.
Each day should produce around 150 credits and over 30 days that should give you 4500! Where does the other 5500 come from to make the 10,000 in a month that I promised you?
This is where it gets really interesting!
Now let's think BIGGER!
I mentioned earlier on that you may not have 30 points per column. And that will be because you've signed up for the free account and that's fine but if you want to get your 10,000 per month you'll need to upgrade to Pro Version (There's a link at the top of your TrafficSwarm page when you log-in). It's only $30 per month but don't worry I'm now going to show you how to cover that monthly cost very quickly.
All you have to do is show 6 other people (through your PIF4P sign-ups) the benefits of using TrafficSwarm and then encourage them to upgrade to Pro Version and you'll be paid $5 for each and every month thereby covering your $30 outlay. Once you've done that you have all the great benefits of becoming a full Pro Member but it's effectively still for free! I covered my outlay within 2 weeks of joining TrafficSwarm so it's hardly cost me anything at all.
Once you upgrade to Pro you're immediately given 2500 credits as a thank you. Best news is though - you're gifted 2500 each and every month!
There are many ways to invite other people to TrafficSwarm. One of the simplest is to create a simple signature that goes out at the bottom of every outgoing email. For this you need to copy your TrafficSwarm Referral URL. You can find this after logging-in to your TS account and scrolling down to the heading Earn FREE Referral Credits at the bottom of that section.
The credits are building!
So your daily DMO will bring you around 4,500 credits each month plus the 2.500 you're given each month by upgrading to Pro which will bring you to around 7,000 credits.
Still 3000 short of the 10,000 I promised.
OK!...You will also get 1200 points for recruiting your six TrafficSwarm Members (200 per member).
The remaining 1800 credits will build automatically from the surfing activities of the 6 Members that you invited in.

That's it. It's that simple. Do this every day and your traffic and signups will skyrocket.

Getting to Grips with TrafficSwarm

How to Write or Improve a Sales Letter
The words on your web site are what convince people to buy. Here are 12 ways to make your copy work better, along with a few things to avoid.
Keep this checklist handy any time you write a sales letter, web page, ezine ad or selling email.
1. Use a great headline. The headline will sell your reader on reading the rest of the page. It often takes writing over 100 headlines to find one that works best and can last forever.
2. Tell the reader what's in it for them. They want to know how they will benefit, and they want to know it now!
3. Tie every feature of your product back to one of two benefits ... saving time or making/saving money.
4. Keep your paragraph length short. Three to five sentences is best.
5. Break up the length of your copy with sub-headings. Make these one point size bigger than the rest of the copy and make them bold.
6. Read great copy before you begin. Go to the sites of the top money-makers online and read their copy. Never use their wording as your own, but see how they write and then put those concepts to practice in your business. Great sales copy inspires us to write better.
7. Be yourself. Don't try to sound formal. Let your personality shine through and let them know that there is a person behind the words.
8. Use lists for easy reading. Most top selling sites use a generous amount of lists (with bullet points or numbers) so the reader can scan the copy and get the main point.
9. Lead with your #1 benefit. It's rare when people read every word. Make the first thing they read have impact and they will keep reading.
10. Stop writing when you have said it all one time. It's all too easy to repeat yourself when writing. While repetition can be a good teacher, it makes for copy that is often too long.

12. Be specific. People want to know exactly what they can expect to get.

How Long Does It Take To Get Listed In Google?
So how do you get your sites indexed in Google in no time at all for free?

I've been brainstorming all the different elements of what I want to include, and here's what I've come up with so far:* resale rights to the eBooks (obviously)* use of my professionally created sales letters (I paid a fortune to have these killer sales letters written... should I include them, or let people create their own?)* I'll also give them my thank you pages, and download instructions email to make things easy for them.Here's my main question...I have a few other things that I can throw in, but I'm not sure if it would be too much. The other possibilities are... * the professional header graphic* the complete set of eBook graphics* and this is the one that I'm wrestling with... should I offer ALL of them in a bundle package? (meaning, they can buy all 10 products with resale rights for one low cost... or should I sell them individually?).
Because these eBooks have sold a ton of copies, I don't want to devalue them by offering a ton of cheap, low level packages. I expect to charge around 150 dollars for the cheapest package, and even with that... if the person has a list, they could make their money back on the first day. Would it be a mistake to offer this as a bundle package, and give people all of these products that are already developed and ready-to-sell? I'm ready to launch this offer, so I'd really appreciate hearing from some of the more experienced marketers on this forum.

The Slingshot Method
Why do I call it The Slingshot Method? Well what happens when you pull a sling shot back further and further? Eventually it comes exploding back to where it was originally... almost instantly.When you think about that in terms of forum posts, that means that you take your post, and get it to come rocketing back to the top of the list of available posts to read.
Here's how to pull this off...Most forums are designed so that the newer posts are at the top of the list, and they get pushed down as more and more new posts get added. But guess what... it's not ONLY new posts that make it to the top. The ones who get replied to also get pushed to the top! Let me explain that in plain English. If you made a post last week about something, and nobody replied, it would keep going further and further down the list, until it made it to (gasp) page 2,which nobody looks at. Here's how to keep your post at the top of the list... simply REPLY TO IT.
That's right, simply reply to your own post, and add some extra information that you "forgot" to put in your original post. Think about it, if there's a reply to your post every day for an entire week... your post will NOT get pushed to the bottom, and most of the "regulars" will get to read it. I actually have a very powerful example of how to use the Slingshot Method. I used it to keep one of my own posts "stuck" at the top of the list for an entire MONTH! While everyone else was getting 2-300 people reading their post, I got nearly 2,500 views!
That post brought me a lot of traffic, and a lot of extra sales. The good news it that you can model my post to create your own traffic producing monster. Of course not! If you're smart, you'll go to as many restaurants as possible, so that you can put your recipe in front of as many prospects. The same is true with posting on discussion forums.
You've got to get maximum use out of your efforts. I can sum up this secret in 3 words - Paste Your Post Here's how it works. First, you choose the forums that you really like visiting. Personally, I only have time to look at 4 or 5 forums, but they are all really big ones such as my own at http://www.freeadvertisingforum.com/index.php?referrerid=198579 Then you construct your post in Windows Notepad (or a similar text editing program), and save it. Next, you visit each one of the forums and paste your discussion post into each one of the forums. Simple. Here's why this is important..Most people spend a lot of time writing a really amazing forum post, but they only put it up on ONE website.
That's a huge waste, because you can post it to other forums for free. The only costs is 5 extra minutes of your time. So the next time you want to get some really great traffic from your forum posts... be sure to place them in multiple forums... not just one.You'll get a LOT more traffic (and sales) from your efforts than you ever imagined.

I read somewhere in an eBook that if you put a descriptive, and enticing subject line in your email, more people will open it (as opposed to just saying XYZ Newsletter Is Here)."
This kind of post will usually generate very lame responses that sound like this..."Nah, I simply use the same subject line eachtime, so that they'll recognize my emailnewsletter."

Here's an example of an open ended question..."Why do you like Internet Marketing over regularDirect Mail marketing?" Do you see how there's more room to give a personal, creative answer? Here's how this looks in a post...
"I've been learning all about subject lines this past week, and I was just wondering if you folks could share your favorite subject line strategy for sending out email newsletters. I've heard that some people disguise their content by using vague subject lines (does this personally annoy you?). I've also heard that sometimes it's a good idea to use the same subject line every time. For example, XYZ Newsletter, Issue 11... where only the issue number changes each time you send out a new email .With all you experts in here, there's gotta be some really good secrets behind using subject lines to your advantage. So come on... let's show off a little :)"

I'm starting to see 6 dollar haircuts EVERYWHERE! Oh wait, you don't know what I mean by 6 dollar haircuts, do you? Well listen to this story. I guarantee you'll never forget it.Once upon a time, there was a very successful barber who had a thriving business. He was well known in his city for giving top notch haircuts for only 10 dollars. His customers loved him, because he was giving extraordinary value for a fair price. He was truly giving people MORE than they paid for. One day, the barber got into a disagreement withone of his customers (who happened to be a wealthy, corporate executive). This customer was SO angry at the barber, that he decided to open up a brand new barber shop right next door, and make every attempt to put him out of business. He put up a HUGE sign in his window that said,"We Give 6 Dollar Haircuts". Within 2-3 weeks, almost all of the barber's customers were goin gto his competitor's place in order to save money. There was no way he could charge only 6 dollars and still stay in business, but he was determined not to go out of business. So he came up with a plan to fight back. He decided that he would also put a big sign in his window that would counter what his competitor was trying to do to him. Within ONE WEEK the barber had all of his business back, because of that sign. Can you guess what the sign said? We FIX 6 Dollar Haircuts! Here's how this relates to us as Internet Marketers. I see all sorts of websites popping up and selling cheap garbage products. It seems like just about anyone who has a thousand bucks in his pocket can hire a ghostwriter to create a mediocre "me too" product. Those products usually don't have any really valuable content.It's all just generic fluff. In fact, often it's just reworded forum posts that were transformed into an eBook.How can someone who's JUST getting started in this business teach you how to make money in this business? If you want to get into to Interne tMarketing business, then buy the reprint rights for a proven, high quality product that actually makes a difference in people's ability to make money .Don't just go out there and devalue the market by selling $9.95 "flea market quality" eBooks. I'm just wondering... how do YOU feel about"cookie cutter" cheapo products? Do you think they have any value? The only value that I can really see is that they make people who really DO pour themselves into their product... look much better. What are your thoughts?

THINGS THAT WORK A LITTLE BIT

Do NOT use the SafeLists listed on SafeList Boyz by themselves. Allow two to three weeks for set up.
Now all of these lists are free but offer upgrade options. If you get results will it be worth it to upgrade? That depends on how much you value recruits. In every case you are targeting recruits. You use them to find opportunity seekers. That is because opportunity seekers are the people who use these lists. Or more accurately, people with opportunities and an appreciation for MLM. THINGS THAT DON’T WORK
Please be informed that somethings just don't work. They are a total waste of time and money. If you don’t know what some of these things are, don’t worry about it. You don’t need to know.
